Maury County students make the grade in college

• Southern New Hampshire University also congratulates the following students on being named to the Summer 2022 President's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List.

• Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize about 150 students on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Summer 2022 term, including Jesse Jackson of Spring Hill and Callie Wilhelm of Columbia.

Austin Peay also congratulates the more than 500 graduates recognized for earning their degrees in the commencement ceremony on Aug. 5, including: Taylor Mihalick of Columbia, Olivia Owens of Columbia, Margaretta Heinzelman of Spring Hill, Patrick Bedingfield of Columbia.

• Ashley Gobble of Columbia was named to the Dean’s List at University of the Cumberlands for the Summer 2022 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, maintain a GPA of 3.50 and be in good academic standing.

• Nathen Baggett of Spring Hill is among the more than 1,000 students who graduated from the University of Mississippi in August 2022. Baggett, who is a Pharmaceutical Sciences major, received a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in the School of Pharmacy.

• The Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Dickson and Clarksville Campus announces the Summer 2022 President’s List to recognize students who have earned a 4.0 GPA for the trimester: Davis Carter, Brian Ruiz. The Academic Honors List recognizes students who have earned a 3.70-3.99 GPA for the trimester: Benjamin Slaugenhoupt.

• The following Maury County students at MTSU recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines: Dax Araya-Derosier of Spring Hill, Erika Brown of Columbia, Brady Nabors of Spring Hill.

• Freed-Hardeman’s Rachel Thomas, a nursing major from Columbia, was inducted into the Iota Chapter of Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society.

• Brandon Cruz of Columbia was named to the Dean’s List and received gold stars for the spring 2022 semester at The Citadel. The Dean's List is a recognition given to students whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher. Gold stars are awarded to students who achieved a 3.7 GPA or higher.

• Wheaton College congratulates August 2022 graduate Alyssa Hoesel of Spring Hill, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art - Studio Art and a minor in Mathematics.

• Danielle Finch-Richardson of Columbia made the Fall 2022 Dean’s List at Cumberland University. This honor is reserved for students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher on all classes attempted.

• Jonathan Leonard of Columbia made the Summer 2022 Dean’s List at Tennessee Tech.

• Hayley Craig of Spring Hill was named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List at Berry College. The Dean's List honors students who posted a GPA of 3.5 or better while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.

• Jacksonville State University Dean's List students for Fall 2022 included Lynlee Jackson of Spring Hill and Katherine Carter of Columbia. To be named to the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.5-3.99 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 hours of courses. William Jackson of Spring Hill has been named to the President's List at Jacksonville State for the Fall 2022 semester. To be named to the President's List, students must earn a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.

• Evelyn Bunce of Spring Hill has been named to the Southeast Missouri State University Dean's List for academic achievement during the Fall 2022 semester. Students named to the list earned at least a 3.75 GPA with no grade less than a B.

• Alexis Wilder of Spring Hill has been named to Campbellsville University's Dean's List for Fall 2022, while Eva Siemen of Spring Hill has been named to the President's List. The Dean's List recognizes students who achieve a GPA of 3.50 or above, while the President's List recognizes students with a 4.0 GPA.
